Thomas James Briggs (1780 - 1869) was the son of the infamous Connor and Maxine Briggs. He was very confident and outspoken but knew his place. He had an illegitimate daughter named Susanna Delfino whom was born after an inaffair withHelena Delfino from The Bahamas when he went on holiday. At this time, he was married to Felicia Gregory . Thomas did not know Susanna excisted until she was 18.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Thomas was born in New York, four years after the independence of America. His parents are Connor and Maxine Briggs. When Thomas was three, his mother, gave birth to a girl named Isabelle which took to Thomas' dislike. When Thomas was seven, he eventually began to like Isabelle. He married a woman named Felicia Gregory in 1800 at aged 20, after dating her for five years. In 1805, he visited The Bahamas and met Helena Delfino. They soon had a love affair and when Thomas returned to New York, she realised that she was pregnant. On the 23 April 1805, Helena gave birth to a daughter whom she named Susanna. After her birth, Helena tried to reach Thomas but failed. 

Life as an Assassin[]

In 1803, before his affair, Thomas was with his sister when a tunnel began collapsing. When they were trapped, an assassin saved them. Desperate to find him/her, they found records of the Assassin's Order and joined it - prior to finding out about their parents. This caused an uproar for their parents, so they ran away from New York into exile. In 1810, Isabelle was killed in one of their journeys. In 1823, Thomas discovered he had an illegitimate daughter named Susanna. So his wife divorced him. 

Susanna Delfino[]

His daughter searched for him after her mother's tragic death. Susanna managed to find him in Kingston, Jamaica with his wife, Felicia. When Susanna found her father, she pretended to be a maid until she finally told him the truth. Felicia suspected they were having an affair so she confronted Susanna, so Susanna told Felicia the truth. After this, Felicia realised that he had an affair so she left Thomas. He was a neighbour to Susanna's family until his death in 1869.

Death[]

Thomas died of an unknown diesease on the 25 May 1869. Prior to his death, he had grey hair and had a walking stick. He told his grandchildren about his life just before his death. When he died, he was surronded by his surviving family - including the newly wed Felicia.
