Biography[]

Early Life[]

Jason was born to an Assassin father and a banker mother in Toronto, Canada. When Jason was 6 months old, his father left without a reason (because of his duties as an Assassin) but Jason's mother assumed it was because he was afraid of responsibility. In 1994, at age 6, Jason's mother married a programmer named Jerry, Jerry loved Jason as his own son and Jason returned the feelings. Jerry taught Jason how to program thus making him have a talent for "hacking". In 2006, Jason graduated high school and went into programming with his "father". Eventually in September, 2012, Jason left his father's wing and became a programmer at Abstergo Industries facility in Toronto.

Subject 18[]

After 2 years of working at Abstergo, the CEO asked for Jason's help as the Animus was being "glitchy". Jason fixed the Animus and tested it by putting it on, which caused him to accidentally go into the genetic memories of his ancestor. After ejecting himself from the Animus, Jason discovered he was in a different room, he then saw a video of the CEO explaining that he tricked Jason into entering the Animus so they could re-locate him to an enclosed room and his only way out is to relive the memories of his ancestor. Jason had no choice but to follow the CEO's orders. While reliving the genetic memory of his ancestor he discovered the generation long feud against the two groups known as the Assassins and Templars, Jason discovered that he descended from Assassins and Abstergo must of been Templars. The next day, Abstergo supplied him with new clothing and Jason knew he had to escape. Jason devised a plan to lure an Abstergo agent, knock him out and take his gun. The plan worked, but while he was escaping he suffered from the Bleeding Effect and alerted the guards, Jason used the Bleeding Effect to kill the guards and escape. He then encountered Juhani Otso Berg who scratched him with his blade, Jason suffered from the Bleeding Effect but Jason remained enough control to knock out Berg, Jason also took his Hidden Blade and escaped. Jason's blood dripped on the floor and Abstergo scientists took it and analysed it.

On the run[]

Jason spent the next month on the run, eventually the Bleeding Effect activated whenever he was drunk, so Jason spent every night getting drunk to protect himself from an upcoming attack from Abstergo or Cross. Eventually he was approaced by a stranger in a white jacket. Cautious, Jason threatened him and left the bar, Jason knew that the man was following him, barely able to stand Jason attacked the stranger but was quickly disarmed and knocked to the ground, Jason begged him not to take him back to Abstergo, confused Scott said he wanted to help and had information about his past, Jason then passed out from too much alcohol.

Joining the Assassins[]

Jason woke up in a bed, and had a massive headache from his hangover, he saw the stranger standing beside him an introduced himself to the stranger, the stranger introduced himself as Scott Daniels. Scott told Jason that he was on the Altair II, the current hideout of the Assassins. Upon discovering this Jason immediately felt safe, Scott recovered some old files and revealed to Jason that his father was a member of the order explaining why he left. Jason and Scott also discovered they were both related due to their ancestors being cousins. Jason joined the Order and was assigned to train via the Animus.

Cato's memories[]

After training through Cato's memories. The member of the First Civilization began speaking to him, Gavin Banks reviewed this footage and realized it was too late to stop Juno but they did see that in his life a lot of his ancestors encountered Sages, this could be useful for them in their search for the Sages and stopping Abstergo from retrieving any of their blood. From the files Gavin pulled, his Levantine Assassin ancestor Sargon Hemsami encountered a Sage at some point in his life. Jason then began digging through his ancestor's memories to find the Sage...

Sargon's memories[]

After a week, Jason had found the Sage's body through Sargon's memories, his body was located in a Temple in Damascus, Jason along with Scott and the Russian Assassin Galina Voronina went to Damascus but Otso Berg and his Sigma Team were also looking for the Sage's corpse, after they had recovered Jason's blood, they relived his ancestral memory to find Sages. The three Assassins brawled with Berg and Sigma Team, emerging victorious. The remaining survivors of Sigma team fled along with Berg.

Jason, Scott and Galina then went to the Temple and recovered Alexander III's skeletol corpse and returned it to the Altair II where the Assassin scientist can analyse the corpse. Gavin Banks told Jason he would notify him if he discovers any ancestors.

Personality and Traits[]

Jason before joining the Assassins was a close-minded person always focusing on his own future rather than others, his only thought not of himself was to his family and the little friends he had.

Other than this, Jason was very talented in learning new things, like programming in his youth and the ability to understand situations and get his way out.

After joining the Assassins, Jason was less selfish and more open minded, he cared more for his Assassin comrades including his relative Scott Daniels, who he was very protective over despite Scott being two-years his senior.

Jason had a sixth sense dubbed "Eagle Vision" where he could look through walls, this ability was present from birth although Jason never told a doctor about it. From childhood, Jason had a knack for eavesdropping as he would always eavesdrop on his parents while they were discussing his punishments. When his step-father Jerry, taught Jason about programming he eventually developed his own hacking abilities.

In 2014, after training through the Animus, the Bleeding Effect granted him the abilities of his ancestor Cato, through this Jason learned to free-run and dual-wield, with these skills he used them to defeat the Templars in an assault on the Assassin hideout.
