Biography[]

Early Life[]

Charles was born in Oxford, Britain and he was born into the Order, as a child Charles was very close with his French cousin Dimitri, in 1858, Charles and Dimitri's parents were killed in a riot and the boys were made homeless. The boys spent most of their life in poverty and raised themselves as thieves, through the years the cousins grew closer and became more than cousins, they were brothers. In 1867 at the age of 18 the boys signed up to join the Royal Navy due to them having a dream of being in the open-world at 13, Charles and Dimitri were accepted into joining the Navy after a year of being in the Royal Navy the boys were kicked out because of their recklessness and irresponsibility, after that Charles and Dimitri hated the Navy, so the boys got all their savings from the Navy and built their own ship called The Utio (meaning revenge in Latin). They eventually became pirates and recruited many people including George Thatch and Oliver Heaviside at the age of 18. Their main goal as pirates was too destroy all Naval Ships they find and steal their gold.

Days at sea and joining the Assassins[]

In January 1868 The Utio was ready to take to the seas, the group of pirates were very good at taking over ships due to Charles and Dimitri being trained by the Navy at 18. Sometime in April 1868 the 19-Year-Old Charles found a ship that looked like it was worth a lot of loot so he then ordered his men to attack it, after a long fight it seems that the Navy proved to much for the amateur pirates as much to Charles surprise the Naval soldiers did not kill any of his men, all the Naval soldiers had hoods on and it was very strange to Charles a man which appeared to be the leader told Charles, Oliver and Dimitri they had potential and offered to train them. In order to survive an attack like that again Charles accepted and took advantage of the mysterious man, after that Charles made George the Captain of The Utio until he came back, the man told Charles, Dimitri and Oliver about who he was and the Assassins and Templars and that the Assassins are selfless and only think about others rather then themselves, due to Dimitri and Charles being raised in poverty and people neglecting him he could not let that go and agreed but lied to be a selfless person. Due to Charles and Dimitri already have been trained by the Navy, the Assassins had very little to teach so the boys only trained for a few months before being inducted into the Assassin order, as to being one of their favorite students the Assassins gave Charles the armor/robes of Mortimer (his father), and as to growing close to his Assassin teacher, Charles decided to live by the Creed and kill Templars and not kill an innocent, but he would not be selfless. Charles and Dimitri unfortunately had to leave the young Oliver behind due to him having much training to do.

Charles was back on The Utio ready to find gold, get laid and kill more Naval soldiers with his new Assassin skills, and spent a year fulfilling all his wishes. In 1869, Oliver finally returned from his training and proved an amazing pirate.

Discovering about his parents[]

Charles about to kill...

Charles fighting the Templars

In 1870 while invading a ship, he discovered that it was a Templar ship and so as an Assassin Charles did his duty and took it down, while in mid-battle a Templar recognized Charles' face and declared he knew him and had killed his parents 13-Years before, the young Assassin then stabbed him and demanded an explanation, the Templar revealed that his parents were originally Assassins and so was Dimitri's, and that Prince Albert originally ordered the riot which was secretly Templar's in disguise to kill all the Assassins in Oxford, Charles did have a heritage of the Assassins but was never told of it, after the 3 Assassin's and the pirates cleared the ship, Charles has put all of his selfish ambitions aside and has now declared to find out about his mother and father's past.

Inner Journey and Outer[]

Charles spent years trying to find out about his parents and in those years he married Allison Albert or now Allison Ravensdale and used all of his stolen treasure to buy a big house in London and fathered two daughters Denice who had most of her mothers features and then Claire he had most of her father's features. In 1875, Charles realized he was losing his focus into finding out about his mother and father's past and so he told his family that he was going on a "buisness trip" and that he would be gone for a few months, and so he recruited his old crew mates and brought The Utio back to the seas.

While in Spain battling with some Templars he discovered the secret location of another Templar who had planned and killed all of the British Assassin's and his parents, it was on an island somewhere in the Caribbean/West Indies and that a big blockade was in front of it and so Charles did what he was best known for, he acted without thinking and drove The Utio into the blockade and had his crew distract them while he gets on the Island under water.

Templar Island[]

Charles swam under the sea battle and onto the island, he then interrogated a near by Templar and demanded to know where the head Templar was and he then told him of the whereabouts of the head Templar, his name was William Von Dart. Charles then went searching for William Von Dart killing Templars on the way, he then found and injured William Von Dart and demanded an answer on his parents past, William then told Charles of there past and meddling in Templar business and the Charles slit William's throat, when Charles came back he saw that The Utio defeated the blockade but was badly damaged and so Charles said his goodbyes to The Utio and the many great adventures he had on it he then stole one of the Templar's ships and used it to get back home, Charles saw Oliver was scarred on the face, Oliver then told Charles he'd like to be dropped in Havana and so he was. Dimitri asked if he could be dropped in France and so he was. Finally Charles and the crew arrived in Britain, Charles said his goodbyes to his crew and gave the Templar boat to George Thatch which would later be named The Justice.

Later Life[]

In 1876, Allison Ravensdale gave birth to his first son Theodore, Theodore was a bit hard on his son and constantly trained him, he did love his son but never told him, in 1892 in an attempt to assassinate Queen Victoria he was captured and imprisoned, Charles then told Theodore to find the key in his office and unlock the chest in Theodore's bedroom, Charles was then hanged the next day.

Legacy[]

If Charles never told Theodore to go to Dimitri, the Templars would have invaded Britain. After Barry's body was recovered by Abstergo in 2016, they extracted his DNA and discovered all of his ancestors including Charles. In 2017, his memories were relived by an Abstergo Entertainment research analyst for marketing purposes.
