Barry Whitehound (1989 - 2016) was an Assassin but like many others, he wasn't born into the Order, but was of Assassin heritage, he was originally an employee at Abstergo but was then imprisoned by them and forced to use the Animus, he only escaped by Bleeding Effect. And then was found by the Assassins, they then trained him through the Animus to become an Assassin. He was the twin brother of Thomas Whitehound, lover of Julie Van Silvere and father to their son Andrew Whitehound. He was a descendant of Assassins, Mortimer Ravensdale, Charles Ravensdale, Mohawk Assassin Rajáni:kant, his father John Gorge, Spanish renaissance Assassin Eduardo De Leon, great-grandson of Theodore Ravensdale and grandson of Caroline Ravensdale.

Early Life[]
Barry lived an ordinary life, he was went to school, went through puberty, bullied in High School, graduated, went to college, grew up and got a job.
Abstergo Industries[]

In 2012, Barry was interested in the science of Abstergo and decided to apply for a job there, after a few days he got a call saying he got the job and work would start straight away. Barry managed to work in the science division for a year. In 2013 Abstergo's CEO Richard Vidic learned of Barry's heritage and wanted to access his memories because: 1, he wielded a Piece of Eden and 2, because they wanted to extract his memories and put it in the DDS (Data Dump Scanner) for Abstergo Entertainment's game console, Barry was tricked into going to the Animus facility, the guards then drugged him and strapped him into an Animus and accessed the memories of his great-grandfather Theodore Ravensdale, after weeks and weeks of being in an Animus, Barry was expressing 10 second hallucinations of him being in 1895 Havana and in the shoes of his ancestor, Barry realized he needed to escape and so the next day Barry stole a Switchblade from Abstergo and fought his way to freedom.
Joining the Assassins[]
Barry was alone for months and in need of food and money, Barry was going to die until he encountered an Assassin named Julie Van Silvere, she helped him and took him back to her Assassin Hideout, the Assassins decided to train him through the Animus due to his exceptional skills at Abstergo. So Barry, Julie, Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings helped train him in the Animus using the genetic memory of Theodore Ravensdale.
The Blades of White Light[]
In 2013 after he completed his training and had the skills of a Master Assassin, Barry joined the Blades of White Light.
Kidnapping of William Miles[]
Sometime after Barry completed his training, the Templars ordered an assault on the Assassin's hideout, the Assassins fought the Templars and after the Templars had served their purpose in the mission, they left. The Templars kidnapped William Miles, and due to the highest ranking Assassins were either dead or missing the Assassins voted on Barry going to save William, and so he did.
Barry returning to Abstergo fearlessly
The young Assassin returned to Abstergo once again but this time with a new skill set, Barry killed all agents standing in his way, eventually fighting Asher Dane, Barry ended the fight by stabbing him in the leg with his Hidden Blade. Barry then went to the top-floor due to him watching a lot of movies and knowing that the captive would always be at the top floor, Barry then found William only to see that Richard Vidic was waiting for him, and demanded Barry to get into the Animus and finish the life of Theodore Ravensdale, Barry quickly reacted and threw a test tube at Richard and escaped with William Miles. After they escaped and got back to the Assassin's hideout William thanked Barry for risking his life to save him. William then told Barry that his personality and skill set reminded him of his son Desmond Miles, Barry then asked who he was and William then told

him about Desmond Miles and his sacrifice. After that the Assassins relocated to a more secret place, which was the The Grand Temple/Central Vault.
Starting a relationship with Julie[]
In December 2013, Barry conquered his emotions and decided to ask Julie Van Silvere to be his girlfriend, luckily she said yes.
Becoming a father[]
In April 2014, Julie told Barry that she was pregnant and that she was afraid, Barry then comforted her and told her he will take responsibility and take care of the baby. On January 1st 2015, New Years Day, Julie finally gave birth to their baby boy and the couple named him Andrew Whitehound.
Death[]
In 2016, Asher Dane came to kill Andrew but Barry would not let that man kill his son and so Barry fought Asher but was shot, and fell to the ground with a blurry vision he saw that Asher had knocked out Julie and was about to kill Andrew and so Barry clinged onto little life he had and stabbed him in the back of the head and the two both died next to eachother. A funeral was held for Barry a week later. Andrew did not attend as he had seen too much already.
Post-moterm and legacy[]
In 2016, a week after Barry's funeral. Abstergo came along and recovered his body from the grave and replaced it with another, they then took the body back to Abstergo industries for an autopsy, they extracted all his DNA and discovered all of his ancestors. Abstergo then used this DNA for the Sample 19 Project. In late 2017, the Assassins Clark Peterson, Josh Winters and Mandy Moore recovered his body and the Assassins gave him a better and proper burial.
