Matthew Quinn Crowden is a assassin living in modern day Berkeley Spring, West Virginia. He was born in 1996. Before becoming a assassin, he was a sophmore at his highschool.
Early Life + Time in the Animus[]
Matthew was born in 1996. His parents were both assassins. His father, Steven Crowden, was trained from the age of 10. Steven then trained his wife, Martha, to be a assassin. Matthew wasn't trained to be a assassin at first, due to his father not wanting the assassin life for his son. Matthew was a very smart individual. He aced school work and IQ tests. During his Sophmore year at his high school, three Abstergo Industry agents came to the school in order to put several individuals in a Animus. They offered to take a volunter. Interested, Matthew offered to be put in one. Once in the Animus, Matthew relieved the events of one of his ancestors during the Battle Of Hasting, Sir Escobar Adams. Adams had to assassinate one of the generals in the french army. After reliving that event, Matthew was eager to re-enter, but the three Abstergo agents didn't allow him to enter it again. Later that evening, Matthew went off and visited his parents to tell them about the Abstergo agents and the Animus. After hearing this, Matthew's father decided it was time to train his son to be an assassin.
Becoming a Assassin[]
Matthew learned his father's skills quickly. He was first taught his father's parkour skills. He then learned blending in, escaping, and assassinating targets. Withen the span of 6 months, Matthew became a experianced assassin. He was granted his father's outfit, which consisted of a custom made white sweat hoodie, black cargo pants, and running shoes. Matthew also got his father's weapons, which were a Tomohawk, a short sword, a silletto, a knife and hook, and two hidden blades.
Matthew and his father went to town as part of Matthew's final test, to kill a Abstergo recruiter. Matthew looked around and observed his enviroment. The recruiter was on a stand that was held by high pillars that held a roof. Matthew snuck to the back and scaled the pillars. Once on the top, Matthew jumped down and and impaled his hidden blade into the recruiter's skull. Matthew took off to escape as the police chased him. He jumped from building to building and rolled into a alley way and hid inside one of the abandoned buildings. The police ran right by him.
Matthew returned home and met with his father. Impressed with his sons work, Matthew's father had Matthew take a pledge. After taking the pledge, Matthew became a official assassin
Tragidy Strikes[]
Matthew went back to his school to eliminate the remaining Abstergo agents in Berkeley Spings. He snuck around the walls and assassinated the Abstergo agents. It wasn't long before he got into a conflict as he was surronded by Abstergo. Matthew was able to eliminate the majority of them before being thrown into a wall by a heavly armored agent. Matthew did his best to try to kill the heavy, but was no match. The heavy suddenly vommited blood and fell over dead. Behind him was Matthews friend Eddie Kilika. Eddie was dressed in a assassin outfit. Confused, Matthew asked if Eddie was an assassin
