Acre's port and harbor.
At the time when the Hashashin fought the mysterious Order of Templars, the city had recently been taken by Richard the Lionheart after his army took the city from the Muslim Army, which formerly occupied it. It is from Acre that the Crusaders launched further attacks into the Holy Land and as such, the city is mainly influenced by western European culture and is full of Christian soldiers. As Acre is a major port city, it has many ports, which are inhabited by thugs and drunken sailors. Some sailors have even taken to pushing unwary passerby into the water, and many drown. The most conspicious landmark in Acre is the Cathedral. Acre is a much more European city than Jerusalem and Damascus.
